Who We Are

The Jaipur team making spaces

SmartR Spaces began with a recurring design problem: automation can look impressive during a demo yet become difficult for owners, families, or facility teams to understand and support after handover.

So the team started from a simpler Jaipur-based principle: specify around the people who will use and maintain the system. Controls, fallback behaviour, documentation, and support expectations should be clear before procurement.

SmartR Spaces is a Jaipur-based low-voltage integrator for automation, security, AV, and networking. We begin with the property, construction stage, required outcomes, and support expectations—not a pre-selected product list. See how that approach applies to home automation in Jaipur.

Our Story

How we got here.

We started SmartR because we kept seeing people who paid for expensive systems not get what they needed.

Two engineers who had been building systems for years kept running into the same problem: installations that looked great on demo day but left the client confused a month later. Lights that no one could change without calling a technician. Technology sold features that no one really needed.

So we started over in Jaipur with one question: will this remain understandable, serviceable, and useful after handover? That test guides each specification, cable route, integration, and control decision.

SmartR Home was our earlier name. As the work moved beyond homes into offices, hotels, theatres and building systems, the name became SmartR Spaces. The company and the people behind the work did not change.

Today, SmartR Spaces plans and integrates automation, security, AV, and networking for homes and commercial spaces from its Jaipur office. Each proposal records the agreed scope, selected equipment, commissioning tests, and support terms.

Our Philosophy
"Build systems that work—
not systems that wow."

We ask ourselves one question before making any decision about what brands to use, how to cable, or what to spec: Will this still work reliably in five years? It's easy to impress on demo day. It's hard to be reliable after handing over. We picked hard.

Our Values

Three things we don't compromise on.

Value 01
Reliability Over Features

A system with fewer unnecessary dependencies can be easier to understand and support than one built around a long feature list. Long-term serviceability matters more than impressiveness in every decision, from brands to cabling to configuration.

Value 02
Every System Built from Scratch

No packages. No standard config. Every system designed for your exact layout, requirements, budget, and goals. If the right answer is a simpler system, we tell you that.

Value 03
Full Responsibility

SmartR remains the accountable point of contact for the agreed design, coordination, commissioning, handover, and documented support scope. Responsibilities are made clear before work begins.

Our Process

From Survey to Support

Five stages. One team throughout. No surprises.

01
Site Assessment

We review the layout, infrastructure, construction stage, goals, and budget. Survey availability, travel, and any fee are confirmed before the visit.

02
Custom System Design

Survey learnings dictate the system spec. Detailed proposal with product specs, itemised quote, and timeline. We walk through everything and answer every question before any commitment.

03
Professional Installation

The installation team works against the approved scope, then records functional checks for the selected devices, scenes, integrations, and fallback behaviour before handover.

04
Training and Handover

More than just a manual and a phone number. Our team will show you and your staff how to use each system until everyone is comfortable. All handover documents are included. Not clear after we go? We're back.

05
AMC & Ongoing Support

Where an Annual Maintenance Contract is selected, its written scope can include scheduled checks, compatible firmware updates, remote assistance, and site visits. Response targets and exclusions depend on the chosen agreement.

Why renew?

"Why renew?" "A system that was set up correctly still needs care." Changes in firmware, wear and tear on parts, and changes in the environment can all happen. Regular maintenance finds small problems before they become big ones. Regular health checks are designed to reduce avoidable emergency call-outs and keep the handover documentation current.
