Coverage and blind spots
Entry routes, boundary lines, cash counters, parking and critical interiors are mapped with a reason for every camera position.
SmartR designs and installs CCTV systems across Jaipur for homes, offices, shops, schools and industrial properties. We begin with the view that must be captured, the distance and lighting conditions, then select camera type, lens, storage and network capacity. The goal is usable evidence and reliable remote viewing—not a high camera count with blind spots.
Professional CCTV installation covers much more than mounting cameras. We plan entry and perimeter views, identify back-light and night-vision problems, calculate recording retention, size PoE switches and UPS backup, secure remote access, label the network and test playback before handover. Cameras record and verify events; a layered home security system can add earlier detection and alarms. Planning a recorder? Use our free CCTV storage and retention calculator before selecting NVR drives.
Camera brand follows the site requirement: identification distance, lighting, analytics, storage period and network conditions. We use supported equipment, calculate recording capacity and avoid exposing recorders directly to the public internet.
Product families such as turret, dome and bullet cameras are compared only after we know the subject distance, lighting, angle and recording target. This is an illustrative concept, not a completed SmartR project photograph.
A clear face at the gate, a readable vehicle view and a wide overview need different positions and lenses. We map those outcomes before fixing hardware.
Entry routes, boundary lines, cash counters, parking and critical interiors are mapped with a reason for every camera position.
Back-light, headlight glare, infrared reflection and Jaipur dust are considered so footage remains useful outside showroom conditions.
Resolution, frame rate, camera count and required days of footage determine NVR channels and surveillance-grade storage.
Managed PoE, protected cable routes and UPS-backed switches keep the system stable and easier to diagnose during outages.
Mobile access is configured with unique accounts and secure platform settings instead of shared default passwords.
Camera cleaning, focus checks, disk health, time accuracy and playback tests keep installed systems ready when footage is needed.
We define the scenes that must be captured, lighting conditions, cable routes and retention requirement.
The proposal lists camera type, lens, NVR, storage, network and UPS scope.
Cables are routed and labelled, cameras aligned, recorders secured and remote access configured.
We verify recorded evidence, train authorised users and offer periodic system health checks.
The required view drives the lens and position; the final bitrate then drives network, storage and backup requirements.

Estimate NVR capacity from camera count, bitrate, recording hours, retention and practical storage headroom.
Calculate CCTV storageCamera count alone does not define a surveillance system. Resolution, lens, night conditions, recording days, cable route, network capacity, backup and the evidence required at each position determine the installed scope.
A planning range for four IP cameras, an NVR, installation and cabling for a straightforward Jaipur home site. The written equipment and route specification controls the final price.
₹25,000–40,000 is a planning range for a basic four-camera IP system, not a universal package. Camera model, lens, storage period, cable length, installation access and backup change the written proposal. Taxes and optional work are included only when expressly listed.
| Property type | Likely starting scope | Primary evidence need | Confirm on site |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apartment or compact home | Entry, parking and selected interior IP-camera coverage | A small number of correctly framed views can cover the main approach and access events. | Society rules, shared areas, door back-light, Wi-Fi or cable route, privacy and retention. |
| Independent villa | Gate identification, perimeter overview, parking and entry coverage | Wide boundaries and multiple approaches need different lenses rather than identical cameras. | Wall height, night lighting, vegetation, blind spots, cable paths, rack and UPS location. |
| Shop, clinic or office | Customer entry, transaction or reception views and after-hours coverage | Playback must show the relevant event while respecting staff and visitor privacy. | Counter back-light, opening hours, audio policy, retention, authorised users and remote access. |
| Warehouse or industrial site | Gate, loading, boundary and operational views on a scalable PoE network | Long distances, difficult lighting and more cameras require planned switching, storage and power. | Identification distances, fibre or copper limits, lighting, rack capacity, redundancy and monitoring workflow. |
A face at the gate, a vehicle plate and a wide boundary view require different framing, focal lengths and sometimes different camera classes.
Higher resolution is not automatically better if the lens, shutter, lighting and night scene cannot produce usable detail.
Camera count, bitrate, frame rate, resolution and required days determine surveillance-grade hard-disk capacity.
Distance, outdoor protection, ceilings, conduits, difficult heights and restoration work can exceed the hardware labour in a simple kit quote.
PoE switching, rack space, UPS duration, internet configuration and secure remote access are part of system reliability.
Line crossing, people or vehicle events, health alerts, cleaning and disk checks add value only when configured and maintained for the actual site.
Share the property type, project stage and locality. We use this context to route the enquiry before discussing a survey or written scope.
The office is in Pratap Nagar, and our engineers work across the city. During published business hours, you reach the local Jaipur team—not a pan-India call centre.
Equipment is selected model by model. We check documented operating-temperature limits, enclosure ventilation, ingress protection and the actual installation location before specifying hardware.
Survey notes, drawings, device schedules and commissioning checks keep the approved scope consistent from design through handover.
Available AMC scope can include health checks, supported firmware updates and scheduled site visits, as listed in the written proposal.
We assess residential, commercial and industrial projects across Jaipur and nearby areas subject to schedule, site access and serviceability. Confirm the address before booking.
Our office is at Lower Ground, 92/02, near Pannadhaya Circle, Haldighati Marg, Pratap Nagar Housing Board. For a camera survey, call +91 96944 41610. We inspect the required view, lighting, cable route and recording duration before recommending hardware.

Questions about CCTV Installation in Jaipur — answered directly.
A basic 4-camera IP CCTV system for a home starts around ₹25,000–40,000 including cameras, NVR, installation and cabling. Larger or commercial systems are quoted after a site survey.
Yes. Those are covered under our separate home security service, which can integrate with the CCTV system while keeping the camera design focused on surveillance and recording.
Compatible systems can provide app viewing and configured event alerts where the recorder, network and user permissions support them. The exact remote-access method is documented during handover.
UPS-backed PoE and recorder operation is included only when specified. The proposed equipment, load and expected backup runtime are documented in the written scope.

AMC options may include camera cleaning, storage checks, remote diagnosis and agreed call-outs. Coverage and response terms are stated in the maintenance agreement.
The camera sensor and lens, NVR model, hard-disk capacity, cable type and length, PoE and UPS scope, installation access, analytics and warranty can all differ. Compare the itemised equipment, recording days and installed tests—not only the camera count.
We inspect the property, clarify the scope and explain which architecture fits before preparing the itemised proposal.
